Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Postgraduate in Information Management Systems (specialization in Marketing Intelligence) from the Nova Information Management School, Postgraduate in Advanced Studies in Law and Security from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Master in Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, he is a PhD student at the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, developing research on Data Protection and Cybersecurity.

Since 2010, as Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer, he has led the implementation of Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection, Information Security, Whistleblower Protection and Fraud Prevention activities in private and public institutions, both in Portugal and in other European Union countries, and, since 2016, 2019 and 2021, respectively, he has been responsible for the In-Person and Distance Training Programs of the Data Protection Training Center (www. centrodeformacao.pt), the Compliance Training Center (www.academiadecompliance.com), the Cybersecurity Academy (www.academiadeciberseguranca) and the Security Academy (www.academiadeseguranca.com).

In addition to his certification as a Professional Trainer and Instructor, he is also certified as an Internal Security Auditor and as a Security Director, under the terms of the applicable legislation.
